The Clucking End was the product of a gamejam that only had two rules. 1. You have 48 non consecutive hours and 2. Every entry must use the same art asset pack provided by the gamejam. I worked on this project mainly on my own (My wife providing some game design ideas, sounds & characters scripts) It was an enjoyable project to have to think of an idea using assets you couldn’t choose yourself. The game ended up as a 2D Stealth RPG, about a boy who was turned into a chicken.
Using C#, I had to learn about and create mechanics such as cones of vision using ray casting, NPC patrolling, character dialogs as well as character abilities such as hiding in barrels and dashing. Managing my time was crucial in making sure I had enough time to polish the game and submit it.

I’m proud of the resulting project and I feel that its nicely polished for a gamejam game.
